The first house that Raymond and Alicia Vargas ever shared, which was relocated to the farm, remodeled and placed next to the pond, where it could glimmer in the peaceful rays of the sun, be warmed in the soft clouds of the evening, and shimmer under the gleaming twinkle of the Texas stars.

The Flying V Ranch was purchased by Raymond Vargas, Jr. 27 years ago. Although there was little out there then, the ranch has grown immensely over the years. Now, owned by Raymond Vargas, Sr., and his beautiful wife, Alicia, the ranch is home to a number of animals and antique tractors. Happy inhabitants of the Flying V include Charolais and Hereford cattle, quarter horses, donkeys and miniature donkeys, miniature horses, African Boer Goats, Barbados Sheep, chicken, ducks and rabbits. The couples' first home was moved from its first location to the farm and now sits next to the pond in the back. It has been remodeled and has a bed, table, and porch, for relaxation and escape. The pond is stocked with catfish and has a fountain. The family enjoys summers swimming in the pond and fishing year round. The Vargas' also built a dining hall for the rapidly expanding family to spend holidays and birthdays together. The hall has a kitchen and plenty of tables, as well as a full bathroom. Small crops are planted throughout the year, producing squash, corn, pumpkins, hay grazer, and zucchini.
